The original Kit-Kat is the American one. Made by Milton Hershey, he name the chocolate after his wife. :)

"Why you puttin red bean paste in a kit kat???" CLEARLY this guy doesn't know anything about East Asian desserts. Legit through Japan, China and Korea red bean is used in a variety of each countries desserts.

I would love to try the apple ones. I am going back to Japan in April so will be filling my suitcase with kitkats. The best one I have tried so far is matcha and sakura (cherry blossom), oh and the oolong is amazing too!
