keith i dont know if u answer these or not but i gotta try.... i have the Gamo Big Cat whisper 1300 fps its .177cal will it do the job on the hogs? that looks like lots of fun and we have thousands of hogs on our lease i would like to try.

without optics a gun like that sells for close to 600$. Nowadays you can by a 223 ar15 for that. doesn't seem practical unless you are rich and can drop 700$ ,(optics) on an air rifle.

Good video Keith, the Gamo Cotote is basically the BSA R10, with a few cheaper parts installed, like the trigger. I hope you were using a 30 ft/lb rifle to hunt the small "porkers". I own the BSA R10 MK2, and yes it is VERY accurate. This rifle should be just as accurate! This rifle is a partnership endeavor with BSA. I do not condone hunting pigs with it though. I would personally use a 30 cal. air rifle or larger to insure a humane kill.

Dumb question. Is the only place to aim with an air gun the head? I've seen turkey hunting with airguns and they also went for the head. Really seems like a good way to hunt as it keeps the meat in tact

Gamo is definitely quality product. My P25 .177 pistol is a finer built piece of equipment than the .22 firearm rifle in my stash. It's quite accurate at ranges of 75-90 ft too! A ton of fun to impress friends plinking with the thing.
