Actively Aerated Compost Teas - holistic orchard care
Lewis McNeill of the Urban Orchard Project visits Ragman's Lane Farm to learn about the use of Activated Aerated Compost Teas (AACT). These boost the populations of beneficial microbes on the tree surface and in the soil, thereby boosting the tree's health and resilience against scab, mildew and rust. Please see the blog for which this was filmed here theurbanorchardproject.wordpress.com for further information.

I have a compost tea brewer that will make a batch of 60 gallons. I have 4 HUGE pecan trees that are in bad shape. It is getting closer to winter. How much should I be giving these trees during the winter?
