i put the cuttings in compost in a completly sealed bottle that is transparent . then put the bottle in my balcony , directly under the sun light ( half day ) as rooting needs sun light . Strong sun light will kill mold, so it does not go moldy.
Before i poked the cuttings into the compost, i soak cuttings for one or two days and soak the leaves in the water for several hours.
I did not give water spray to the leavs in the first five days as strong sun light would make the water in the compost to evaporate . The vapour in the sealed bottle moisten the leaves and become water again by condensation at night or in a cool envirment . That is why i did not give water spry in first five days.
My friend gave water spray to the leavs evey morning and night as it was 39C , very hot. He just opened the sealed plastis box for one minutes when he sprayed the water. Around 20 days, all the cuttings grew new leaves. 100% cuttings survived
I did not open the sealed bottle in the first two days( due to strong sun). In the third day's night, i had to open it for 3-4 hours as i worried it went mody as it rained whole day. when i opened the bottle i saw some cuttings had sprouts. All my cuttings grew new leaves . -
thanks

I love farm and farmers, I grew up in rural area and I'm into farming in my leisure time i went to my orchard and spent much time there its nice place for recreation

we just planted a small tree in the ground, with root starter. our small branch was way bigger than 7 inches, more like an 2 arm lengths.. we cut the lower branches, off and put in the ground and watered. The branch had been sitting in the pond for a month or so, and was very alive. will this grow roots, as I am concerned that it is a small tree and not 7 inches. Thanks for your easy to learn video.

I tried this and after about two weeks in the bag everything was starting to mold... What am I doing wrong. Seems water and heat in a closed bag would always cause this...
