A northern Chinese farm (tour of Julia's parent's place)
In the last days of August 2011, Julia and I took a trip to her parent's farm so that I could meet them for the first time. As you may know, this is an important visit if you're a foreigner dating a Chinese girl. To say the least, the meeting went well and I wanted to share a tour of a typical northern Chinese farm set in the surrounding hills of Mudanjiang.

It's actually pretty hard to find farmers so poor today, their house are so dirty and poor it's like a farmer's home from 25 years ago, must be some family with special problem, or it is just a especially poor area.
