A Farmer Harvesting Millet in Taiping Valley, Xian

A local deaf peasant is harvesting millet in the Taiping Valley. There are 72 famous valleys in the northern slope of Qinling Mountain. In the Sui Dynasty, Taiping Palace was constructed among one of the 72 valleys, which is located in the Hu County, Xian City. Hence, it got its name Taiping Valley. In the valley is the Taiping National Forest Park, a famous summer resort in Qinling Mountain.
