I loved growing my watermelon hydroponically it turned out great :)
Side note will the ants on your sunflower bother the sunflower? I had beatle and ants into mine and I was not sure if I should have left the ants be or try to chase them off a bit more :) Thanks -

I like organic, this is my first year living in the suburbs of Phoenix Arizona I don't know how hundred degree weather will affect them any info on that will be useful. I'm wondering if the sprouted verity of Watermelon sold at Lowe's are organic? as a lot of times they don't specify organic or not. enjoy your show very informative thank you. Any info would be very much appreciated.

Nice video--we thank you for the info.
Question---I have seen several videos describing how to tell if a melon is ripe. But what happens to a watermelon if say, it remains in the garden too long?? Will it merely get bigger and bigger, and sweeter and sweeter, or will it somehow spoil while still attached to the vine?? How long is TOO long??
Thanks -
great planning mam, thank you so much

I love you your so gorgeous. You inspired me to have a garden.

Thank you very much Kim,Outstanding video,I thank you so very much...Kim I live in the NE and I do know im growing Mellon against the wind living in this climate and trying to get WM.I have had some success 3 years ago,But in last 2 summers my skies are full of Chemtrails every stinking day. I do not know the variety but I had 2 ,oval WM doing so well.So to increase my chance I cut the vine off about 2 leaves after the WM,Putting the energy into the mellon instead of foliage?!?!,Well Yesterday I see that the flower end of the WM has turned blackish and the WM has started going to rot..I cant find any info on this do you have any comment on what is going on? I thank you so very much again Kim....88s

Hi thanks for this video! Were growin jubilee watermelons. We had a few growing when my wife fertilized it with rose fertilizer. They started getting a black rot that she said was blossom rot. We chopped off all fruit after. Any ideas on helping it rebound?

I am gonna be starting my vegetable garden next year...I am so excited!

We usually plant the seeds here and let them grow into plants. It don't take any time for them to grow here in Arkansas. The main thing I learned is not to plant watermelons in the same area you grow vegetables in because they pick up the taste of the other vegetables around them. My melons is planted in an area that have been tilled good with my tiller and tractor, and the other vegetables will be in a different area.

Growing jubilee & orangeglo right now, next will be the Bradford watermelon. (Been looking forward to the orangeglo since I seen harvest from last year!)
