After a full day of travelling from the Perhentian Islands we made it to the Cameron Highlands. Unfortunately Chris got an ear infection from diving so we decided to take it easy for a few days and just eat and drink our way through the Cameron Highlands. The Indian food here is fantastic and we wanted to get our fill before going to Japan and China. We had Masala Chai's, Lassi's, Curries and some of the best Naan's we've ever had. Once Chris was starting to feel better we decided to go on a Jungle trek. It was so steep. It was more like scrambling at times but was a great feeling once we reached the top which was 1812 metres. We decided to go for Afternoon Tea once we had finished our trek. This probably sounds like a really unusual thing to do in Malaysia, however the English used to escape the heat in Malaysia by visiting the Cameron Highlands when Malaysia was part of the British Empire. Planters was highly recommended so we headed there and weren't disappointed. The following day we rented a motorbike to go and explore some of the tea plantations. The strawberry tea at Cameron Valley Tea Plantation was awesome. On the way back we stopped to try some new fruits again. This time we had guava and dragon fruit.
