20th March 1927 A memorable Day in the entire millenium, on which Vishwaratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar started a revolutionary movement to establish Samata i.e. Equality amongst people for drinking water, at Chawdar Tank, Mahad, Maharashtra, India. On this auspicious occasion, we the members of Samata Sainik Dal, Pune, conducted an awareness campaigning program producing Constructive Messages of saving precious water. While doing the said activity, we also brought out the role of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in 5 major water and irrigation projects in India, which were executed and completed successfully. It was the era of British rule but the Viceroy Executive Council nominated Dr. Babasaheb for this role in 1942. The references of this period of time are extracted from Hon. Sukhdev Thorat Sir's book "डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे राष्ट्र निर्मिती व जलनिती मधील योगदान". Join Samata Sainik Dal for Bright Nation. 9028205205
